Microsoft launches Surface Pro X, Surface Pro 7 and Surface Laptop 3 in India

Microsoft has launched the Surface Pro X, Surface Pro 7, and Surface Laptop 3 in India. The new range of Surface devices was initially launched in October 2019 in the US and other regions. In addition to the Surface Pro X, Microsoft also announced the launch of the new Surface Pro X Signature Keyboard and the Surface Slim Pen. Microsoft also released a Signature Type Cover, Surface Arc Mouse, and Surface Pen in Poppy Red, Black, Platinum, and Ice Blue color variants.

The main highlight of the Microsoft Surface Pro X is the integration of LTE support, which is the first of the kind in India. Even though LTE variants were released in the US, it never made an entry to Indian shores. The availability of LTE support will provide new dimensions in the emerging Technology segment.

Surface Pro X Pricing

The Surface Pro X is only available in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity with LTE support. Priced at INR 98999, the tablet will be up for garbs in Matte Black color variant.

Surface Pro 7 Pricing

Talking about Surface Pro 7, the device will be available in four different configurations. The Pro 7 is available in Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 processor variants. The Core i3 model is available in 4GB RAM and 128GB storage at INR 72999. The Core i5 model is available in two options. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage is priced at INR 89999, while the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage is up for grabs at INR 116999. You will be able to buy the devices in Matte Black and Platinum color options.

Surface Laptop 3 Pricing

The Surface Laptop 3 is up for sale in both 13.5-inch and 15-inch display variants. The 13.5-inch model Corei5 CPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage is up for grabs at INR 98999. The 15-inch variant with the A9 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage is priced at INR 116999.

Microsoft is planning to sell out Surface Pro and Surface Laptop laptops via Amazon and Flipkart including offline retail stores. The product will be available for sale only after the end of the COVID-19 lockdown. This is because e-commerce marketplaces are not shipping items to all destinations because of the lack of flights and trains. The public transport has been suspended for a long time and the operati9ons will resume only after the next 2 months. The new devices are also available for consumption by commercial and enterprise customers via authorized resellers.

To recall, Microsoft had launched Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 4 in January 2016 followed by Surface Pro 2017. Microsoft also announced the launch of Surface Book 2 and the Surface Laptop in August 2019 with the introduction of Surface Go in December.
