The highlight of the Goqii Vital 3.0 Band is its ability to measure body temperature. The launch assumes importance with the COVID-19 outbreak is at its peak in India.
In addition to the body temperature, the band also provides support for tracking heart rate, blood pressure, and sleep tracking. According to company sources, the release of Goqii Vital 3.0 will set new benchmarks in the early detection of COVID-19 symptoms. The sudden rise in body temperature is one of the early symptoms associated with COVID-19. Goqii has established a partnership with Thryve to integrate temperature detection capability.

The Goqii Vital 3.0 is equipped with a color display and is resistant to water. You will be able to keep track of steps, distance, calories burned, exercise, and other vital parameters easily. The thermal sensor can detect body temperature, which will be useful for the early identification of COVID-19.
The band delivers 7 days of backup upon a single charge, which is less than Mi Band 4. The band comes with advanced features and hence the battery won’t last long because of the consumption. We have to check how much battery is consumed by the thermal sensor. You will be able to receive messages, calls, and other notifications directly on the smart band.
Commenting on the development, the company disclosed that Goquii Vital 3.0 will be available in India in a phased manner. The priority is based on the Government, frontline workers, and private enterprises. The company has reserved a few units for the General public.
Even though the band will not be useful for public health authorities due to health hazards, you can personally use the band at your home. The band measures temperature range between 77-degrees Fahrenheit to 113 degrees Fahrenheit with an accuracy of +/- 0.3-degree Fahrenheit. The companion Goqii app can be used to fetch and dissect the data from the band.

The Goqii Vital 3.0 is priced at INR 3999 and is available for pre-order on the Goqii India official portal. The company disclosed that the band will hit the online shopping cart of Amazon and Flipkart soon. The band will be available in a phased manner. We don’t have any information as to whether the thermal sensor is specific to location. The Infinix smart band, which we purchased recently was shipped with Weather sensor but location matters. We are unable to check the weather due to the location.
