Microsoft rumored to push first Windows 10 21H1 preview build for Windows Insiders in June

Microsoft will probably release the first Windows 10 21H1 preview build for Windows Insiders on the Fast ring. It is to be noted that the DirectX Developer blog had published a post that Microsoft could ship the first Windows 10 21H1 preview build by the middle of June 2020.

The Redmond-based software giant will be adding support for GPU hardware acceleration in the Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 aka WSL 2. The company has now removed the reference and added reference to the availability of the first Windows 10 21H1 preview build from the Iron development branch in June 2020 for Windows Insiders in the Fast ring.

According to reports, Microsoft is gearing up to add support for DxCore, D3D12, DirectML, and NVIDIA CUDA to a Windows Insider fast build within the next few days. The Fast Ring will switch over to the Iron branch by replacing the existing Manganese (Mn) OS branch in June 2020.

You can expect the first Windows 10 21H1 preview build as soon as the fast ring insiders move back to receive builds from RS_PRERELEASE. The proposed plans could change depending upon the circumstances. You should accept the facts only with a pinch of salt. Microsoft will continue to push Windows 10 updates including the upcoming 20H2 build. We will keep track of the developments and will keep you updated.
