Microsoft Pushes Windows 10 May 2020 Update: Everything you need to know

Microsoft has rolled out Windows 10 May 2020 update. The Redmond-based software giant is currently pushing Windows 10 May 2020 update for all Windows PCs and convertibles. The update provides several bug fixes including new features and improvements. After the installation of the update, your system performance will improve to a large extent. Moreover, the Windows 10 update will see a huge jump from 1909 to 2004.

The main change in the Windows 10 May 2020 update is the integration of Microsoft Edge Chromium browser with Windows 10. The update will automatically install the new version, which brings in several new features as well.

The company sources claim that this will improve the performance of Microsoft’s Linux subsystem in Windows. The improved virtual desktops functionality enables you to rename them as per your requirements.

The Windows 10 May 2020 update will be pushed to customers in a phased manner. It will take few days for the update to hit your devices. If you select the Power icon from the Start menu, you will view an entry prompting you to download and update the system. Alternatively, you can manually verify the presence of the update by tapping Settings | Update & Security | Windows Update menu. You should also capture a backup of all the important files in case if you are worried about the safety and security of your data.
