Windows 10 May 2020 Update Ships With Mysterious Windows Feature Experience Pack

Microsoft has reportedly introduced a crazy Windows Feature Experience Pack along with the Windows 10 May 2020 update. According to reports, a mysterious Windows Feature Experience Pack has been made available for those users who have installed May 2020 update. The feature also seems to appear inside the recently released Windows Insider builds.

After the installation of Windows 10 May 2020 Update, you will be able to find the feature by navigating to the Settings page. You should select the first option named “System” and select “About” from the left side navigation panel. You will be able to locate the “Windows Feature Experience Pack” option under the Windows specifications panel.

When contacted by a popular tech journalist Mary Jo Foley, who works for ZDNet, an official Microsoft spokesperson declined to reveal more details about the pack. However, Foley confirms that the Windows feature Experience Pack is bundled as the Features on Demand for Windows 10 version 2004 or later. The Microsoft support page reveals that the pack consists of features critical to Windows functionality. Moreover, you should not remove this feature since it will affect the overall functioning of Windows 10.

The Windows Experience Feature Pack includes an updated Snipping tool, updated text input panel including an updated shell-suggestion user interface. Foley added that Microsoft will add additional Windows 10 shell components to the Experience Pack.

The industry analysts are of the opinion that the Windows 10 May 2020 update along with the mystery Windows Experience Feature Pack will play a pivotal role in the Windows 10 development. We can expect advanced features that are being added to Windows 10 via this pack in the forthcoming updates.
