Microsoft Teams has been refreshed with the ability to set custom background effects. The much-awaited feature will enable you to display custom background effects just like you do when you work with the rival Zoom. After the eruption of COVID-19 outbreak, Microsoft has been working to integrate advanced features to attract customers to the Teams platform.

With the lockdown in effect, schools have been making effective use of Microsoft Teams to impart quality education. In addition to the custom background effects, the Redmond-based software giant also released a new feature with which you can schedule meetings.

With the help of Microsoft Teams, you can perform background blur including the ability to display preset images like a modern office and a cartoonish beach scene. The latest development enables you to add custom background effects. You can upload your own images from your PC. It is also possible to select the pre-defined images provided by Microsoft Teams.

The platform provides a wide range of images including a mountain of LEGO building blocks, the Simpsons living room, Fox background images, and masked singer. If you are a gamer, you can select Xbox collection or the classic Solitaire as custom background effects. Microsoft Teams also includes a Pride collection, which provides support for the LGBTQI+ community.

Microsoft Teams also enables you to schedule meetings. You can schedule meetings and classes. The relevant invitation can be sent to the participants in advance either via Microsoft Outlook or Google Calendar. The free users will also receive access to live captions for their meetings. You will be able to work with these new features in the upcoming days.
