Microsoft Pushes Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20175 With New Features

Microsoft has rolled out Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20175 with several new features and improvements. The update is currently available to Windows Insiders in the Dev channel. Even if you are working with a PC powered with an AMD processor, you will be able to receive the build.

The Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20175 provides an ability to quickly access tab for your pinned sites. You just need to click a pinned site on the Taskbar, which will display all the open tabs for that site across any of your Microsoft Edge windows. The functionality works in such a way that you open any app with multiple open windows. The new feature requires Microsoft Edge Insider Build 85.0.561.0 or higher (Canary or Dev Channel). Moreover, the pinned sites feature will be available for limited set of Windows Insiders.

The Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20175 enables you to reset your UWP apps via PowerShell. You need access to the APPX package name to perform the operation. According to Microsoft, the advantage of PowerShell usage is that you will be able to run the reset commands for system components for those that are not available to reset in Settings. If you run the command, you will lose the associated app data and you will visualize the previous default experience.

The Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20175 ships with Eye Contact module. However, this feature will be available only on Microsoft Surface Pro X. The feature leverages AI capabilities of the Microsoft SQ1 processor.

You will be able to adjust your gaze on video calls and you will look directly in the camera using your Microsoft Surface Pro X. You can activate Eye Contact functionality via the Surface app from within the Surface Pro X.

Microsoft has rolled out new icons for both Sticky Notes and the Snip & Sketch app with this update. You can download the new icons via Microsoft Store update. The icons are designed in such a way that they sync in tandem with the Start menu.

If you would like to work with the Windows SDK, you can download the latest Insider SDK from the Dev channel by navigating to aka.ms/InsiderSDK. The SDK bits will be archives in Flight Hub along with OS flights. In addition to the above-mentioned features, the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20175 includes fixes to bugs.
