Poco has rolled out MIUI 12 for the Poco X2 smartphone for users based in India. This is the first update of the MIUI 12 for the users in India. With build number MIUI 12.0.1.0,QGHINXM, the update measures 813MB in capacity.
The update page revealed via Twitter handle @shubhamdutt13 reveals that the update is stable. However, you have to be careful and backup all the files before proceeding to install the update. Even though there won’t be any problem after the MIUI 12 installation, you don’t have to take any chances.

The MIUI 12 update is currently available for Poco X2 users. It will take few days for the update to hit all the devices because of the nature of the build. The MIUI 12 brings an all-new physically-based animation engine with advanced architecture, which will ultimately refresh the look and feel of the device. It is to noted that the dynamic window technology takes switching screen orientation to a new level.
The MIUI 12 also adds a brand new visual design for all types of content and languages. The adoption of magazine-level layouts will bring several important things into the spotlight. Hence, the content structure will be clear.
To download the MUI 12 update, you should activate Wi-Fi to avoid interruption. However, you can also use mobile data if you have 2GB daily data limit. The capacity of the new update is around 815MB and there won’t be any problem if you have 1.5GB daily limit or more. You will receive a notification when the update is being made available. Alternatively, you can also check the presence of the update by tapping the Settings icon.
