Xiaomi Mi TV Horizon Edition to launch today: Everything you need to know

Xiaomi is scheduled to launch Mi TV Horizon Edition in India on September 7, 2020. According to the teaser reveals, the Mi TV Horizon Edition will ship with a quick wake functionality, which will enable you to quickly switch on the TV from standby mode. Previously, the Lei Jun-owned company had launched Horizon-branded Laptops with trending features and specifications. The upcoming Mi TV Horizon Edition will ship with over 5000 apps with support for Google Play Store. Moreover, the TV will also include a wide range of software optimization for enhanced image quality.

Mi TV Horizon Edition Rumored Features

The Mi TV Horizon Edition features a 43-inch FHD LED display, Cortex-A53 processor, 1GB RAM alongside 8GB internal storage. The Mi Horizon Edition TV Set will be pre-loaded with Android TV 9 platform based on Patchwall UI.

In terms of connectivity, the TV provides support for triple HDMI ports, dual USB-A ports, an Ethernet port, and a traditional headphone port. In addition to integrated Chromecast, the TV provides support for Google Assistant and Google Data Saver Technology. The audio is showered via 20W speakers with DTS-HD technology.

The Mi TV Horizon Edition will offer reduced bezels and is evident as per a tweet by Mi TV Product Manager Sudeep Sahu. The company redesigned the front frame to provide adequate sturdiness. The quick wake module helps you to quickly switch on the TV from standby mode. You can also expect improved brightness coupled with an inverted V-shaped stand design.
