GoPro has launched HERO9 Black action camera with an enhanced sensor that is capable of capturing awesome images via a 20MP sensor. Moreover, the new camera is capable of delivering 5K videos alongside HyperSmooth 3.0 technology. The HERO9 Black camera is integrated with HyperSmooth 3.0 video stabilization technology with in-camera horizon leveling and a new front-facing display. The Max Lens Mod accessory provides Max HyperSmooth video stabilization and Max SuperView Ultra wide-angle photos and videos.
GoPro HERO9 Black will be available at INR 49500 starting late October. The company disclosed that they had eliminated plastic from packaging. The camera alongside the accessories are packaged in a high-quality travel case with placeholders for mounts and accessories. The Hero9 Black joins the likes of GoPro Max, HERO8 Black, and HERO7 Black among others.
Commenting on the development, Nicholas Woodman, GoPro CEO disclosed that the newly launched HERO9 Black reflects the commitment to deliver their customer requirements including more value for their money. The HERO9 Black is a beast product and the reduction of plastic from the product is a priority from the company. Woodman claimed that they are excited to package the HERO9 Black in a premium travel case instead of traditional packaging. Going forward, all the upcoming cameras will ship with the same packaging technology.
The GoPro HERO9 Black features a 2.27-inch touch display with zoom functionality. The 1.4-inch color display on the front side provides live preview and status modes. The 20MP sensor included with the camera is capable of capturing 5K videos at 30fps and 4K videos at 60fps.
You can capture 1440P videos at 120fps and FHD videos at 240fps. The camera offers 30 percent more battery life than HERO8 Black with improved cold weather performance. The HyperSmooth 3.0 technology provides in-camera horizon leveling with support for Time Warp 3.0 technology. The camera also offers power tools such as LiveBurst, HindSightm Duration, and Scheduled captures.
The GoPro HERO9 Black also provides support for SuperPhoto, HDR Night lapse video, RAW photos, and Digital lenses. You can manage the activities with the help of voice control with 14 commands in 11 languages and 6 accents. The camera ships with a large speaker for improved audio playback with integrated folding mounting fingers. The camera is resistant to water up to 10m.

The GoPro HERO9 Black is priced at $349.98 with a one-year subscription to GoPro. If you opt for without subscription, you will have to pay $449.99.
