Windows 10

Microsoft has rolled out Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20215 to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. The update has added Dark mode support to Windows 10 Search on the Taskbar. However, this functionality will work only if you had set the system theme to dark and will be available to all Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. You will be able to work with improved transition effects between Start and search results.

The Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20215 update has resolved an issue pertaining to the hanging of the Windows Security app. Moreover, the update also fixed an issue related to the crashing of the Windows Security app while navigating to the Exclusions page. If you are facing issues with the creation of a restore point related to the Microsoft Edge, then the problem has been resolved.

If the text cursor moves to the beginning of a Text field while typing with the Korean IME, then you will not view the problem again. The latest preview update also fixed issues relevant to the reliability of the voice typing. Microsoft has revealed that they have fixed an issue when the Start menu did not reflect when the device was pending restart.

Microsoft is currently working to resolve extended period hanging during the update process while you attempt to install a new build. The upcoming preview builds will enable live preview for pinned site tabs. You can expect an improved Taskbar experience for existing pinned sites.

It is also possible to unpin the site from the Taskbar, remove from edge://apps page, and then re-pin the site. The company is currently working to resolve the crashing of Office applications after you update to a new build. If the Settings app crashes when opening Manage Disks and Volumes, then you can expect a bug fix soon. You should be on the Dev channel to receive the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20215.
