Amazon Launches Fourth Generation Echo, Echo Dot, Fire TV Stick and other devices

Amazon Echo Dot

Amazon has launched fourth generation devices, which include Echo Dot, Echo, Echo Show, Fire TV Stick, and much more. The company also launched Luna cloud gaming service and Eero 6 series Wi-Fi routers via a virtual event. Amazon used to conduct physical events but the company decided to take virtual route because of the COVID-19 pandemic. With the launch of new Amazon devices, the company is gearing up to celebrate the upcoming festive season with a big bang.

Amazon has integrated a spherical look into the all-new Echo devices. The company has ditched the traditional round shape to pave way for a Spherical shape. The fourth generation Echo features Dolby audio technology coupled with Zigbee support and Amazon Sidewalk bridge functionality. The all-new fourth generation Amazon Echo is priced at Rs 9999. Amazon also announced the launch of Echo Dot and Echo Dot with Clock with the same spherical shape. During the launch event, Amazon disclosed that Alexa will be able to recognize a kid’s voice and respond with new voice with kids friendly profiles.

Amazon also launched Echo Show 10, which is bigger than the currently available counterparts. The Echo Show 10 features a motorized bottom, which enables the device to move automatically to face you when you interact with it. In addition to Amazon Prime Video and Hulu, the newly launched Echo Show 10 provides support for Netflix.

Amazon Luna

Amazon has launched the much-awaited AWS-enabled Luna cloud gaming service, which will most likely compete with the likes of Microsoft xCloud and Google Stadia. The Amazon Luna is compatible with PC, Mac, iPhone, and Fire TV. The company also revealed that Luna will offer support for Android within the next few days. The e-commerce marketplace also launched Luna Controller at a special launch price of $49.99.

New Ring Security Cameras

Amazon launched new Ring security drone home camera, which is capable of automatically patrolling your home and then return back to the dock for charging. The Ring camera will be available from 2021 at $249.99. Amazon also announced Ring security cameras for cars including Car Alarm and Car Cam. We don’t have any confirmation as to when the cameras will be made available in India.

New Fire TV Stick

Amazon launched Fire TV Stick with HD streaming support, Alexa Voice Remote, and Dolby Atmos at $39.99. The lite variant of the Amazon Fire TV Stick with simplified remote control powered by Amazon Alexa is up for grabs for $29.99. The refreshed Fire TV UI will also be made available starting next year.

Amazon Eero 6

Amazon has launched Eero 6 and Eero Pro 6 Wi-Fi routers with support for Wi-Fi 6, Zigbee Smart Home Hub with Amazon Alexa support. While Eero 6 is priced at $129.99, the Eero Pro 6 is up for grabs for $229.99. You will be able to buy Eero 6 devices starting November 2.

The fourth generation Amazon Echo Dot with powerful bass and cylindrical shape is available for Rs 4499. The Amazon Fire TV Stick with 50 percent more powerful streaming is up for grabs at Rs 3999, while the lite variant is priced at Rs 2999. The Amazon Echo powered by Dolby is priced at Rs 9999.

The fourth generation Echo Dot with clock, powerful bass, and LED display is available for Rs 5499. You can buy Amazon Smart Plug, which will help you to make your devices smarter for Rs 1999. You can pre-order AmazonEcho, Echo Dot in India, and is expected to ship b the end of October. You can also wait until Diwali to avail discounts. Amazon will most likely slash the price of Echo Dot to Rs 2499 during the Amazon Great Indian Shopping Festival.
