The Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20241 has introduced theme-aware splash screen functionality for select apps. The concept is if you change the Windows 10 theme, the relevant theme will be reflected in the concerned apps. For example, if you select Dark theme all the apps like Calculator, Feedback Hub will be modified to Dark layout. In this article, we will examine the steps required to work with theme aware splash screen using Windows 10 Build 20241.
(1) Select Start menu and enter Settings. You will view the Settings dashboard with several options.
(2) Select Personalization option. Windows 10 will display Settings page with several options. The first option is Background.
(3) Select Colors option from the navigation panel located on the left-hand side. You will now view the various options related to Colors on the right-hand side. The default color option will be Light and you can select Dark by selecting the option from the Choose your color drop-down box.
(4) Your desktop will be changed as per the selection. Moreover, you will be able to view the effect if you open the relevant apps.
