Linksys India has announced the launch of a new budget-friendly E5600 WiFi 5 router in India. The E5600 WiFi 5 router is designed to deliver improved speed for faster downloads, lower latency for enhanced network reliability including the ability to establish connectivity with multiple devices. Linksys is the connected home division within Belkin International and Foxconn Interconnect Technology.
The Linksys E5600 WiFi 5 router can cover up to 1000 square feet. Moreover, the router can handle more than 10 devices with a speed of up to 1.2 Gbps. You will be able to use the router for gaming, streaming, and web navigation purposes. The router includes advanced security features such as parental controls including dedicated guest access. With the help of Guest access, you will be able to provide guests access while keeping unwanted guests out of the network.
Commenting on the development, Kartik Bakshi, Country Manager, Linksys India disclosed that working and learning from home has created a new dynamic in the Indian networking industry. Bakshi added that consumers are not only investing in higher bandwidth connections but also higher quality routers, which will enable them to fetch the best experience from their devices.
He added that India plays a pivotal role in the development of overall global strategic plans and the newly launched router is a reflection of that goal. The company had kept the customer in mind during the creation of design of a beautiful, affordable, and fully-functional router exclusively designed for Indian homes. The router will receive support for EasyMesh by 2021 and you will be able to expand the home network by adding the compatible routers.
The Linksys E5600 WiFi 5 router includes four internal antennas with support for OFDMA technology. The router runs under an 880MHz dual-core processor with support for 128MB flash and 128MB RAM. The router comes with one WAN and four LAN ports respectively. The addition of WPA2 Personal and SPI firewall adds an additional security layer.
