Windows Feature Experience Pack

Microsoft Releases Windows Feature Experience Pack With 2 New Improvements

Microsoft has released Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.1070.0 to the beta channel with improvements. However, the update will be available only for those users in the beta channel with 20H2 Build 19042.662 update build.

After the installation of the Windows feature experience Pack, you will be able to paste the snipped content directly to a folder of your choice in File Explorer. You can activate the Windows Snip tool by using Win+Shift+S keyboard shortcut. The second major improvement is that the touch keyboard in a portrait posture on a 2-in-1 touch device now supports split keyboard mode.

You should note that the Feature Experience Pack updates will be pushed to Windows Insiders via Windows Update just like normal preview builds and cumulative updates. You can verify the presence of the Windows Feature Experience Pack update by navigating to Settings | Update & Security | Windows Update option.

After downloading the Experience Pack, you should reboot the system to activate the new improvements. Alternatively, you can verify the Windows Feature Experience Pack version by navigating to Settings | System | About. The features and experiences will be improved with the help of the experience pack. The scope and the frequency of the experience pack releases will be increased based on the feedback provided by Windows Insiders.
