Microsoft has released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20279 (FE_RELEASE) to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. The latest build is identical to that of Build 20277. However, the product team wants to test the ability to quickly follow-up a flight with another flight. However, Windows Insiders who have updated to Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21277 (RS_PRERELEASE) will not receive Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20279 as they are on a newer build. Microsoft is currently working to move all Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel to receive builds starting RS_PRERELEASE by the middle of January 2021.
Microsoft is looking into reports of the update process hanging for an extended time while attempting to install a new build. Microsoft is aware that live previews for pinned sites aren’t enabled for all Windows Insiders. Hence, you will view a Grey window while hovering over the thumbnail in the Taskbar. Microsoft Windows 10 product team is working to refine the experience.
Microsoft is working towards implementing a new Taskbar experience for existing pinned sites. Alternatively, you can unpin the site from the Taskbar, remove it from the edge://apps page, and un-pin the site. Microsoft is working to resolve an issue that results in some users seeing Error 0x80070426, while making use of their Microsoft account to sign into various apps.
According to Microsoft, this problem can be resolved by rebooting the PC/laptop. If you are unable to view any drives under Settings | System | Storage | Manage Disks and Volumes, then the Redmond-based software giant is working on a fix to fix this issue. However, you can manage your drives by leveraging the Disk Management tool.
