Poco is now moving ahead with the launch of a premium gaming laptop with BIS listing. According to reports, the upcoming Poco gaming laptop will be refreshed version of Mi Notebook Pro 15 laptop and will find limelight by early 2021. Poco became a separate entity by parting ways with Xiaomi in early 2019. The company has released several latest smartphones, which have garnered attraction among users across India. Even though 2020 was one of the most difficult years with drastic slowdown during the month of March and April due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Poco managed to sell millions of handsets during the Diwali season. Poco is now gearing up to expand the product portfolio by introducing a gaming laptop.
As per the latest BIS listing, Poco will unveil two gaming laptops with the SKU R15B02W and R14B02W. This indicates that the company will unveil both 15-inch and 14-inch models as you can infer from R15 and R14 respectively. The BIS listing implies that the battery models are from Xiaomi and hence we strongly believe that the upcoming gaming laptops could be rebranded model of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15 launched in China. We don’t have any information regarding other specifications but we expect to get them soon as and when new leaks emerge.
On the specifications front, the Mi Notebook Pro 15 flaunts a 15.6-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and an 81.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. Internally, the Notebook Pro 15 is integrated with up to 10th generation Core i7-10510U processor, up to 16GB RAM paired with up to 1TB SSD hard drive. You will play games via the NVidia GeForce MX350 graphics processor. The laptop is pre-loaded with Windows 10 Home.
In addition to Wi-Fi 6, the Mi Notebook Pro 15 provides support for Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI port alongside dual USB Type-C and USB Type-A ports. You will also find the presence of a headphone port and a dedicated SD card slot. The laptop borrows power via a 60WHr battery with backlit keyboard. The launch of the Poco gaming laptop is imminent with the BIS listing. We expect Poco to conduct a launch event by the middle of February 2021 to unveil the gaming laptop.
