NITI Aayog Launches DigiBoxx Cloud Storage Under Atmanirbhar Bharat


DigiBoxx, a cloud-based storage service has been launched by India’s ThinkTank NITI Aayog. 2020 was totally a disaster for mankind because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, people have learned several lessons during the lockdown stage. Moreover, India faced several issues at the border with Chinese army going on a rampage. The need for self-reliant India or Atmanirbhar Bharat has grown immensely with Prime Minister Narendra Modi advocating the need for homegrown products. DigiBoxx is a cloud storage and management platform developed under Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. The launch of DigiBoxx assumes great importance with the need to protect the privacy and security of the data.

Digiboxx is available for an affordable price for individuals, professionals, and enterprise communities. The company also provides free package for 20GB storage. The company sources revealed that data will be stored within India and the service will be available on both web and Android platforms. The company is working to provide iOS support and will be available within a one-month time frame.

Kant also added that he is delighted to launch India’s fully homegrown data storage service virtually amidst COVID-19 pandemic.

The platform provides the ability to apply metadata for easy search with support for multiple formats and sizes. You can also organize and manage assets with labels, sections, and filters. DigiBoxx enables you to manage your pictures, videos, documents, folders, and assets on any device. You can now collaborate with your photos, files, and folders on an Indian cloud. The platform is exclusively designed to share megabytes of photos and videos including sensitive data. Alternatively, you can also upload and share large files with your email address and mobile number. You can access files instantly including the ability to track your digital assets with robust analytics. You will be able to generate reports on asset activity and find out the best-performing assets.

DigiBoxx Pricing

The free package provides support for one single user and SSL with 20GB space. The maximum file size is 2GB with unlimited external collaborators. The company will provide Gmail integration and real-time collaboration alongside support for web preview. The paid plans start at Rs 30 per month with storage up to 2TB capacity. You will be able to store files with up to 10GB of capacity. The company will roll out Gmail integration, real-time collaboration, and SSL support. The SMB plans start at Rs 999 per month with an option for yearly payment at Rs 11988. The company also announced customized package and the storage will be discussed on case by case basis.
