The company revealed that all Insiders in the Dev Channel will receive the build. The Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21286 has introduced news and interests on the Windows 10 Taskbar.

You will be able to quickly access an integrated feed of dynamic content such as news and weather, which will be updated throughout the day. It is possible to personalize the feed with relevant content customized exclusively for you. You can fetch curated news right from your Windows 10 Taskbar instead of navigating smartphone apps with small fonts.

With the help of this feature, you can stay updated with the latest headlines, weather, sports, and read them right on your web browser without disrupting your workflow. You can access news and interesting content from over 4500 global portals such as The New York Times, BBC, The Verge including live weather maps. You can select an article to open a streamlined reading view with less distractions.

You can specify which content you would like to see or don’t know seeing by selecting More | More stories like this or Fewer stories like this. You can also make use of emojis to react to stories. You will be able to access the Microsoft Privacy dashboard via news and interests. The Microsoft Edge browser ships with integrated controls, which limit tracking from advertisers and third parties. You can also deactivate the news and interests by right-clicking on the Taskbar.

According to Microsoft, the news and interests on the Taskbar will be useful for those users who would like to stay connected with information on the latest current events.
