Microsoft has rolled out Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21296 (RS_PRERELEASER) to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. In a blog post. the company sources revealed that the new build will be made available to all Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel.
The Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21296 has refreshed the clipboard history design to provide support for pinning, unpinning, deleting, and syncing individual entries. The clipboard can be activated by hitting WIN+V keyboard shortcut. Moreover, the update provides an ability for the users to manage and create storage spaces from within Settings dashboard.
The Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21296 has resolved several bugs. The issue pertaining to the launch of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been resolved. The game should be updated to reflect the new change. If the Xbox Game Bar starts on its own after the release of the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21292, then the issue has been fixed. There is no need to press WIN+G shortcut key. Moreover, the system hang issue when WIN+G is pressed has been resolved.
If the Program Compatibility Assistant consumes large amount of processor resources as in the last few flights, then the issue has been resolved. If the explore.exe hangs while mounting ISOs, then the latest update resolves the problem. If the Windows Security app displays both check for updates and link simultaneously, then the issue has been fixed. Windows Insiders faced rendering and graphic issues while resizing certain app windows and this has been solved.
The Installation of Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21296 will restore x64 emulation on ARM64 if broken during the installation of build 21292. An updated preview of the ARM64 C++ redistributable is currently available for Windows Insiders working with x64 apps on ARM64.
Microsoft has revealed that older builds in the Dev Channel will expire on January 31, 2021. You should update your system to the latest build if you are on Build 20262 or earlier.
