Microsoft Edge has been updated with the addition of new themes, sleeping tabs, a dedicated password manager, and history modules. The Redmond-based software giant has released 24 themes with very simple colors to gamer-centric themes. Some of the themes include Microsoft Flight Simulator, Forza Horizon 4, sea of thieves, and much more.
The Microsoft Edge Sleeping Tabs enable users to be more resource-efficient and should be activated via Settings. Moreover, the new feature boosts browser performance by freezing inactive tabs and reallocating system resources. The purpose is to power active tabs and programs.
Microsoft Edge has been refreshed with a dedicated Password Generator, which automatically suggests a secure password for account registrations and modification of existing passwords. Microsoft is planning to release a monitor, which will generate alerts if the password has been exposed or leaked on the dark web. Microsoft has updated Edge web browser with cross-device history and tab sync. Previously, this feature was made available in the UK and now introduced for Global Microsoft Edge users.
With the help of this new feature, users will be able to work from where they closed the Microsoft Edge browser even from Android or iOS. The websites you browsed with the PC will be accessible on your smartphone and vice versa. There is no need to fiddle with a device to locate the websites you visited previously using Edge web browser.
