Microsoft has released Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3030.0 to the beta channel. The new update is available for all Windows Insiders in the Beta channel who are on both 20H2 and 21H1 builds. The experience pack has improved the reliability of the handwriting input panel.
The Windows Feature Experience Pack updates are rolled out to Windows Insiders via Windows Update just like normal builds and cumulative updates. If you are part of the beta channel, you should navigate to Settings | Update & security | Windows Update and verify the availability of the update. The system should be rebooted to activate the handwriting input panel improvement. Moreover, you can select Settings | System | About to check the Windows Feature Experience Pack version.
Microsoft is currently testing the new delivery method for Windows Insiders with feature improvement. Going forward, you can expect the rollout of additional features including increasing the frequency of releases. The Windows Feature Experience Pack updates will be folded into the already existing servicing process for Windows 10 and will be made available via Windows Update.
Microsoft is constantly releasing new preview builds including Windows Feature Experience Pack for both Dev and Beta channels with an impressive set of features. You should note that the preview builds will provide an opportunity for the Windows Insiders to experience new features before the actual release of the full-blown Windows 10.
