If rumors are to be believed, Microsoft is gearing up to integrate Dark theme for Office on Android. Microsoft Office on Android will soon be updated with Dark theme. According to Microsoft tipster, Alessandro Paluzzi, the Redmond-based software giant is working to integrate Dark mode on Office and Office Hub on Android. He also shared screenshots of the rumored Dark theme.

After the introduction of Dark theme, you will be able to choose between Light, Dark, and System Default backgrounds. However, the screenshot shared by Paluzzi display a blank Word document as White. However, this could change upon the final rollout of the Dark theme feature.
We don’t know how Paluzzi was able to grab the screenshots and leaked out on the wild. It’s a matter of time before Microsoft rolls out Dark theme for the Office suite because the company had already rolled out the theme for Outlook, OneDrive, and other Android apps.
We don’t have any confirmation as to when Microsoft will push Microsoft Office Suite update to Android users. The Dark theme will be visible on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. That being said, Google had already rolled out dark mode on Android for Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Microsoft is lagging behind but not far away. We expect Dark theme for the Microsoft Office suite within the next few days.
