Microsoft Pushes Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0 to the Beta & Release Preview Channels

Microsoft has released Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0 to the beta and release preview channel Windows Insiders. The update will be optional if you are in the Release Preview Channel. The update will not be offered to commercial devices in the release Preview Channel that are either AAD-joined or running the Windows 10 Enterprise Edition.

These customers will receive Windows feature Experience Packs delivered via C preview releases, which will be automatically converted into monthly B releases. The purpose of this initiative is to enable commercial customers to test drive all the non-security fixes and features that are scheduled to roll out with the monthly B release. The Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0 only applies to Windows Insiders in the beta and Release preview channels who are either on the 21H1 or 20H2 Beta and Release preview channels respectively.

The Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0 ships with only one improvement. The update improves the reliability of displaying the candidate list for users of the Input Method Editor. The Experience Pack updates are delivered to Windows Insiders via Windows Update just like builds and cumulative updates.

Additionally, Microsoft is currently testing a new process with Windows Insiders to deliver new feature improvements to customers outside of major Windows 10 feature updates. Microsoft has rolled out a scoped set of features and improvements with the assurance to expand the scope and frequency of releases in the future. The Windows Feature Experience Pack will blend into the existing servicing process for Windows 10 and delivered via Windows Update.
