Microsoft has released a fix for Windows 10 Cumulative Update KB5001330 Gaming Bug. The Redmond-based software giant has revealed the performance issues caused by Windows 10 Cumulative Update KB5001330 while playing games. The company is gearing up to release a full patch but has provided a solution to address the performance issues.

The KB5001330 is the most recent cumulative update for Windows 10 version 2004 and 20H2. The problem was noticed by KB5000842, which landed on March 29 as a preview of the new update.

After the installation of the update, gamers discovered the performance problems and NVIDIA also acknowledged the issue. The company suggested users remove the update. The Windows manufacturer revealed that only a few users are impacted by the problem.

Commenting on the development, the Windows product team revealed that a small subset of users has reported lower than expected performance in games after the installation of the update. The company added that users affected by this issue are either running games full screen or borderless windowed modes using multiple monitors.
