The latest development is that PUBG Mobile India is officially named Battlegrounds Mobile India. The game will be only available in India. Even though PUBG Mobile India was announced in November 2020, the release of the game was postponed several times due to the Modi Government’s ban on Chinese apps.

According to Krafton, the Battlegrounds Mobile India pre-registration drive will go live in India before the official launch. However, we don’t have an estimated timeframe for the launch of the game. It looks like the company is awaiting approval from Government of India.
