Microsoft Pushes Windows 10 Build 19043.1149 (21H1) to Release Preview Channel

Microsoft has released Windows 10 Build 19043.1149 (21H1) to Release Preview Channel. However, the update will be made available only for those Windows Insiders who are on 21H1. If you are a Windows Insider in the beta channel on 21H1, then you will not receive the update.

The Windows 10 Build 19043.1149 (21H1) has added a new policy that creates generic strings and removes branding-specific terms such as Windows, PC for IoT Enterprise Editions. The term computer has been changed to device. The “Getting Windows ready” has been changed to “Getting things ready”. You should note that these generic strings are displayed on the display during the update process.

Microsoft recently released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 19044.1149 (21H2 – KB5004296) to the Release preview channel. This update was made available to Windows Insiders in Release Preview Channel already on Windows 10 version 21H2. The update will be available via Windows Update if you are on Windows 10 version 21H2. Otherwise, you will have to opt via seeker experience.
