Microsoft has announced the launch of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.100 to Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel. If you are part of the beta channel, you will be able to experience the new features of Windows 11. The notable omission is the absence of Chat from Microsoft Teams. However, the Redmond-based software giant will most likely add this feature in the upcoming preview flights. Even if you are on the Dev Channel, you can switch over to the Beta Channel to obtain stable builds of Windows 11. However, if you would like to get regular preview builds, you should consider staying on Dev Channel.
Microsoft has rolled out Chat from Microsoft Teams with Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.100 for Dev Channel Windows Insiders. It will take time for the Dev Channel Insiders to receive Chat app. The hidden icons flyout located on the lower right of the Taskbar has been updated to sync with the new Windows 11 User Interface. Microsoft has added the ability to quickly access Focus assist settings directly from Notification Center. The app will flash on the Taskbar when a background activity demands attention.
The touch keyboard icon in the Taskbar has been updated in such a way that it syncs with the size of other icons located in the corner of the Taskbar. Moreover, the calendar flyout on the Taskbar will collapse down automatically while clicking the chevron in the top corner, which provides more room for notifications. The updated Microsoft Store is designed to run faster. Microsoft has integrated animations, which enable users to keep track of your browsing history.
The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.100 also includes bug fixes related to Taskbar, Settings, File Explorer, Search, Widgets, and other related known issues. If you upgrade to Windows 11 from Windows 10, you will notice the absence of certain features.
