Microsoft has rolled out Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.194 to the Beta Channel and commercial PCs in the Release Preview Channel. The update brings in improvements to the Snipping Tool, Calculator and Clock with Focus Sessions.
The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.194 has addressed an issue where if you enable then disable a contrast theme, it would lead to artifacts in title bars. There are instances where minimize, maximize and close buttons are hard to see and use.
The update has resolved a crash associated with certain connected devices that could result in the inability to use Bluetooth. The update has mitigated an issue that was resulting in subtitles not appearing when expected in certain apps with reference to Japanese language subtitles. The latest update has fixed an issue that was causing certain PCs to bugcheck during modern standby.
The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.194 has mitigated an issue when typing with certain 4rd party IMEs into the search box in Settings that could result in the candidate window being rendered elsewhere on-screen and or characters inserted into the search box not displaying. If the PowerShell create an infinite number of child directories, then the issue has been fixed. This issue occurs when you make use of the PowerShell Move-Item command to move a directory to one of its child directory.

The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.194 includes change that aligns the enforcement of the Windows 11 system requirements on Virtual Machines (VMs) to be the same as physical PCs. It is to be noted that the previously created VMs running Windows Insider preview builds may not update to the latest preview builds. You can continue to run Windows 11 in VMs using VMware and Oracle depending upon the hardware requirements.
Microsoft is currently investigating reports from Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel about the disappearance of the new Taskbar and the Start menu. The Redmond-based software giant is working on a fix to resolve WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR on select Microsoft Surface Pro X devices. If you are unable to enter text while working with Search via Start menu or the Taskbar, then the issue can be resolved by hitting WIN+R key. Microsoft continues to enhance Microsoft Store.
