Google Pixel 6 Pro Launch Rumors: Everything you need to know

Google has quite a positive reputation when it comes to smartphones. Its Pixel lineup is one of the top contenders in the market and an ideal choice for those people that want all the features of a flagship device under a strict budget. The tech giant had previously confirmed the release of the latest additions to its Pixel lineup, the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro in an attempt to get ahead of all the rumors and speculations however a video has surfaced showcasing the perhaps the actual unit of Google Pixel 6 Pro.

Google Pixel 6 Pro Leaked

The Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro would run on the company’s long-in-development Tensor processor, according to the company at the time of the announcement. However, it’s plausible that some leakers have lately obtained a working device. @thisistechtoday uploaded a video on Twitter that appears to be a pre-production version of the Pixel 6 Pro, replete with its triple rear camera array.

Google hasn’t been hush-hush about revealing the device’s design and has even set up a mock-up at its New York store.

To that point, the device that is spun around in this short video appears to be similar to what we’ve seen so far, but for the peculiar Google logo placeholder. The phone in this video looks to have a hole-punch selfie camera, and all of the phone’s controls are on the right edge.

The phone in this video appears to sport a metallic and glossy rail surrounding its raised camera bar, similar to the Pixel 6 Pro renderings Google provided, as opposed to the Pixel 6’s darker, matte-textured rail. In this footage, it’s difficult to determine for sure. The device is said to carry out everyday tasks such as messages backup without any trouble.

Wrapping Up

It is worth noting that while we’ve already seen how the phone appears, what’s interesting about this video is that the display is turned on, which is a perspective on the Pixel 6 or 6 Pro that we haven’t seen much of outside of this new ad. However, it’s a somewhat dull look, as it shows the same screen that appears during the Android 12 setup process. A 6.7-inch QHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate will be included on the Pixel 6 Pro. We still do not have a definite release date of the Google Pixel 6 or 6 Pro but we expect it to be sometime later this year.
