Microsoft Releases Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22468 To Dev Channel Windows Insiders

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22468 to the Dev Channel Windows Insiders. Microsoft has fixed build expiration reminder starting with Build 22468 to be September 15, 2022. The previous Dev Channel builds from the RS_PRERELEASE branch will expire on October 31, 2021. You should update to Build 22468 to avoid this expiration policy.

The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22468 includes several improvements and bug fixes. The MDM enrolled PCs will receive Build 22468. The redesigned Paint app is currently rolling out to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. The update also brings in improvements. You will be able to view statistics about the connection when you click on VPN connection in VPN settings. The update also added an option to turn off showing recent searches when hovering over the Search icon in the Taskbar. The option can be located under Taskbar behaviors in Taskbar Settings.

The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22468 includes bug fixes related to Taskbar, Search, File Explorer, Input and Settings. Microsoft added that they are looking into the known issues associated with Start menu, Taskbar, Search and Widgets. The company also revealed that the desktop watermark located on the lower right corner of your desktop is normal for the pre-release builds.
