If you follow the guide, you should be able to complete the whole process. The app is not available on Google Play Storer and hence you need to install via manual route as suggested by the company.

Working

You can checkout account info, order info, device info, and product FAQs by selecting the Settings icon. To access the connected smartphone, you should select the Dashboard option. The following screen will be displayed.

Call Logs

You can view a record of call logs with the help of KidsGuard Pro for Android. You can view your name, phone number, type, duration, and date.

You can drill down the logs by selecting the drop-down located on the top left side corner above the Name column. The dashboard fetches logs from today, this month, last month, and a year respectively. The Sync button can be selected to refresh the records.

Messages

The KidsGuard Pro for Android fetches all the SMS messages from connected devices. You can read them in the enhanced font. However, you will not be able to delete the messages from the dashboard. We deleted a few messages from our smartphone and selected the Sync button. However, the dashboard still displays them and we expect them to be deleted after a while. You can also locate messages by entering the keywords inside the Search textbox.

Contacts

The KidsGuard Pro for Android dashboard displays all your contacts. The list will expand upon scrolling. You can also find contacts using the Search option. The page will also display the last updated date and time. If you handed over a smartphone to your kids loaded with KidsGuard Pro, then you will be able to view the saved contacts from within your PC or laptop without accessing the device.

Browser History

You can view the browser history of the installed device by selecting the Browser History option from the left side. It will be easy for you to find which websites your kid watched. The dashboard displays the last visit time, URL, Title and Frequency. You can also locate the history using the Search box and drill down the results using the values from the drop-down box.

Photos

You can access the photos stored on the connected device easily. However, you have to activate Wi-Fi on the phone for the app to load photos on the dashboard.

It will take time if you had stored plenty of photos on the connected smartphone. You have to select the DCIM folder to view the photos. You can enlarge the photos by selecting the Zoom icon upon hovering on the photo and can also download them to your device by clicking on the Download icon.

Video Preview

With the help of KidsGuard Pro for Android, you can view the preview of videos. However, we are unable to view any videos when we tested. We also snapped a small video and select the ed Sync button.

App Activities

The KidsGuard Pro for Android displays activities of the various apps that you have accessed using your smartphone. The KidsGuard panel displays name, version, size, installed date, frequency and the overall screen time. You can also search for apps and also populate the apps based on the frequency like month and year.

Keylogger

The KidsGuard Pro for Android includes a Keylogger module using which you can keep track of the keystrokes detected from the connected Android device.

You will view the relevant dashboard upon selecting the Start button. You will view the relevant app icon, which indicates the origin of the keystroke.

Calendar

The KidsGuard Pro for Android displays Calendar activities with the event, start time, end time, event location and notes.

Location Tracking

The KidsGuard Pro for Android displays locations in both text and map formats. The Geofence module automatically detects when your kid leaves a designated area. You have to generate a geofence around a relevant area by circling a specific location. When your kid travels through the geofence, you will receive an email alert.

The Wi-Fi Logger included with KidsGuard provides the connected Wi-Fi SSID name, start time, end time, duration and the exact Wi-Fi location.

Social Apps

The KidsGuard Pro for Android automatically keeps track of activities from the installed social apps on the connected device. You can view messages from WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, Snapchat, Instagram, Tinder, Telegram, Kik, Viber, LINE, WeChat and QQ. If you select WhatsApp, you can view the relevant messages. The links will not open directly and you have to copy/paste the URL to the web browser.

In the same way, you can select the relevant app and check the messages. The relevant social app should be installed on the target device for this feature to work.

Remote Control

The KidsGuard Pro for Android provides the ability to record calls, capture screenshots, and photos. There is no need to perform any activity on the connected smartphone. You just need to follow the instructions displayed on the KidGuard panel dashboard and the system will capture data from the smartphone.

Record Calls

You can record all the incoming and outgoing calls on the connected devices remotely. The KidsGuard app records all the phone conversations on the target device and saves them as hidden sound files. The app will upload the audio file to the online account upon establishing Wi-Fi connectivity. You will view the history of call records on the panel dashboard.

Capture Screenshots

With the help of KidsGuard Pro for Android, you can capture screenshots from the target device. You need to select the “Take Screenshots” button and the system will capture screenshots. You can then view the screenshots on the panel dashboard. You should note that the screenshots are captured only when the phone is unlocked.

Take Photos

You can capture photos from the connected target device. You just need to select the “Shoot” button and the app snaps pictures. You can view them on the panel dashboard.

Exporting Data

The KidsGuard Pro for Android includes the ability to export data to a CSV file. You just need to select the Data Export option from the left side navigation panel and select the required module for which you need to generate data. You can only export data in a CSV file.

We would appreciate it if the company provides support for PDF and HTML exports as well. You can also delete exported data from the dashboard by checking and marking the relevant option. If you select the Export button, the relevant data under the specified module will be exported in CSV format.

Permissions Check

You can check the status of the various permissions granted to KidsGuard Pro for Android by selecting the Permissions check option. If any permission is off, then you should resolve them for the app to function properly. The path mentioned on the dashboard could probably vary based on devices and the Android version.
