Microsoft has rolled out an update to the Paint app for Windows 11 to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. The new Paint app for Windows 11 update brings in several changes and improvements. Microsoft has updated the Edit Color, Resize and Skew and other dialogs to sync with the new Windows 11 design and fit in with the new Paint app backdrop.
The Paint app for Windows 11 update includes several bug fixes. The Shift-click on a color swatch will now select the relevant color as your secondary color. The update resolved an issue where text boxes would move unexpectedly when using IME. The update also resolved an issue where some dialogs were not properly localized in Hebrew, Dutch, Norwegian, and other languages. Moreover, the updated Paint app includes improved support for screen readers.
The Paint app for Windows 11 update has been pushed via OTA in a phased manner. It will take time to receive the update but you should view the update within 24-48 hours timeframe. It is to be noted that Windows Insiders can either join Dev or beta channel depending upon the requirements. The beta channel provides stable builds than Dev channel. Microsoft often regular updates via Dev channel than beta because the product team wants to test drive the functions and capabilities before being rolled out to Beta Windows Insiders.
