Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22509 to the Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. The latest build includes a set of improvements that make web browsing in Microsoft Edge with Narrator easier. The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22509 includes a good set of improvements, which includes new layout options for Start, clock and date will now display on secondary monitors and Settings changes.
Microsoft have been working on a wide collection of improvements to web browsing with Microsoft Edge and Narrator. You will experience faster typing in edit fields. The Microsoft Edge will provide additional information while navigating the web. Moreover, you will have a more consistent navigation experience with Narrator.
You can type easily in edit fields such as the address bar because Narrator scan mode will now deactivate quickly. If you press Ctrl+L shortcut, you will be able to type immediately because scan mode will deactivate quickly. This major improvement will enable users to complete form filling such as typing name and address in different edit boxes.
You can also easily delete the content in edit fields. The Narrator has been redesigned to read the character that the cursor position is at after a character has been deleted. If the cursor is on “H” in “HELLO”, the Narrator will speaker “E”.
Windows will now display contextual information, while navigating around the web. he required radio buttons and edit fields will now be read out as required. The list levels and accurate list indices will also be read out. You will experience a consistent navigation with Narrator such as enhanced heading navigation, a consistent scan mode and hyperlink reading experience.
It is to be noted that Microsoft Edge version 97.0.4683.0 or higher is required to work with the improvements included with Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22509 or higher. The latest update also includes significant improvements. You can right click on Start to quickly access Start settings and choose the “More pins” or “More recommendations” layout option, which displays an extra row of pins and recommendations.
The clock and date will be displayed on the taskbars of the secondary monitor after connection is established. The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22509 has added a new option to the Installed Apps page in Settings to sort the list from Name in descending order and updated the previous “Alphabetically” option to be called with Name (A to Z).
Windows will remember if you activate Bluetooth or Wi-Fi while in airplane mode. The radios will reflect your preference when you work with Airplane mode. Moreover, Windows Sandbox provide support for reboot inside of its virtualized environment. The update also includes fixes to Taskbar, Input, Windowing, Settings and other modules.
