Donald Trump is reportedly scheduled to launch his own social media app named Truth Social on February 21. Trump is all set to establish connectivity with his fans via Trump Social, which is touted to be his own social media platform. The rumored Truth Social app has been listed on Apple App Store.
Truth Social is a product of the Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), which is identical to Twitter. The app enable people to follow other people including display of the latest trends. The name itself reveals Truth and people close to the former US president reveals that only Truth will be written and published.
Even though Truth Social is listed as free, the Apple AppStore has listed the app as Pre-order. We don’t have any information as to whether Donald Trump’s Truth Social will be available on Google Play Store. If the testing of the app goes as planned, then you can expect the launch on February 21.
In addition to Truth Social, Trump is also planning to launch YouTube like clone including an exclusive Podcast network. The TMTG is valued at $5.3 billion and the prices of the shares surged by 20% after the news of the App Store launch.
Trump was banned on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube after the deadly Capitol Hill siege in January 2020. He has sued the CEOs of the respective companies for silencing his voice. Trump claimed the censoring of free speech is potentially dangerous to the society.
