Working with Joyoshare VidiKit

To work with Joyoshare VidiKit, you should double click the icon from the desktop. You will view a dashboard as shown below

The left side navigation panel includes several options for conversion, recording, repairing and for accessing several tools. The right side provides the available tools under the specified option. For instance, if you select Convert option, you will view the various tools like Video Converter, Video Cutter, Video Joiner and Video Compressor. The Record option includes tools for recording screen and a dedicated audio recorder. The VidiKit also includes tools for repairing videos and watermark.

Understanding Video Converter

The Joyoshare VidiKit includes a dedicated video converter using which you can convert videos, audios and DVDs in various formats. If you select Video Converter option, you will view a screen as shown below

You can add media files by selecting “Add Files” from the top navigation panel. You can also add DVD Folder and ISO Files including the ability to view list of converted files.

We added a video file for this purpose of this review. It will take some time for the video to be added to the VidiKit depending upon the file size. The video will be added to the Joyoshare Video Converter as shown below.

You can add multiple video files by selecting Add Files button. You can select the format to which the video file should be converted by selecting the “Format” option from the bottom left side bar. You will view a screen as shown below

You will find several media extensions separated by tabs such as Devices, HD Video, Web Video, General Video and General Audio. You can also select the option “High – Speed mode – Fast and Lossless (Recommended)” option, which is suggested by Joyoshare. You have to select an extension and select OK button.

The selected extension will appear on the Format option. If you are confused about the extension you need to choose, you can select a device and JoyoShare Video Converter will automatically convert in such a way that the file plays on the selected device.

You can select the output path by selecting the Open button located to the right side of the Output option. Additionally, if you have added multiple videos, you can merge them during the conversion process by selecting “Merge all into one file” option. You have to select Convert button if you are satisfied with all the options.

The progress bar will be displayed during the conversion process. The converted file will appear on the Converted section as shown below

You can directly play the converted file by selecting the Play button from within the video converter. You can also navigate to the output folder to upload the video to YouTube by selecting the search icon.

Using Joyoshare Video Cutter

The Joyoshare Video Cutter is same as Joyoshare Media Cutter, which we reviewed previously.

You have to add the video for which you need cut by selecting Open button. The video will be added inside the cutter and a progress bar will be displayed. Moreover, a preview of the video will also be played.

The next step is to select the areas that needs to be cut by dragging the white-colored slider.

If you are OK with the selection, select the Start button located on the bottom right-hand side to generate the revised media file with cuts. You will view orange colored “1” below the media cutter, which opened will take you to the updated media file folder. You can then upload the file to YouTube or other social media platforms.

Working with Video Joiner

The Joyoshare VidiKit includes video joiner using which you can merge unlimited videos. To work with Video Joiner, you have to select the Video Joiner option from the dashboard. You will view a screen as shown below

You can either select “Open File” option from the bottom left hand side corner or drag/drop the relevant media files. The Video Joiner requires atleast two files so that the tool can merge them into one single video file. The screen after adding the video files will look as shown below

After adding the required video files, you have to select the Convert icon located on the bottom right-hand corner. The convert option will be active only if you add multiple video files.

The merged video file will automatically open inside a folder when the process is completed. You can then use the file to convert into another format if required and upload to YouTube or social media platforms.

Video Compressor

The Joyoshare VidiKit includes video compressor using which you can shrink video files. If you select Video Compressor option, you will view a screen as shown below

You have to add new video file(s) by selecting “+” icon from the top Toolbar. The video file will be added inside the Video Compressor dashboard as shown below

As you can view, the original size of the file is 264.66 MB but the compressed file size will be 158.80MB. Alternatively, you can select the output file path. You have to select “Compress” button to proceed.

The file will be compressed and will be available for playback and download from the History option located on the top Toolbar.

Working with Recording Module

The Joyoshare VidiKit includes recording tools such as screen recorder and audio recorder. The screen recorder enables you to capture screen without any lags. The audio recorder is capable of capturing any sound.

If you select Screen Recorder option, you will be able to view a screen as shown below. You have to first select the capture area, select your microphone and its corresponding volume level. You have to select REC to stop the screen recording.

If you select the mini drop down adjacent to the Capture Area rectangle on the left-hand side, you can select the relevant area. You can also select Full screen if you wish to capture the entire screen.

Audio Recorder

The Joyoshare VidiKit ships with a handy audio recorder using which you can create podcasts. The Joyoshare Audio Recorder dashboard looks like as shown below

You can start recording by selecting the Red colored circled icon captioned “Start Recording”. To stop recording, select the same icon, which now reads as “Stop recording”. The recorded audio will appear inside the dashboard as shown below. Moreover, if you right click on the row, you will be able to playback the audio including the ability to open the file location.

Working with Repair Module

The Joyoshare Vidikit enables you to repair videos and audios. You can also add and remove watermarks.

If you select Video Repair option, you will view a screen as shown below

You have to add the files that needs to be repaired by selecting Add button. The relevant video will appear inside the repair dashboard as shown below.

The next step is to the select the Repair button. We tested this module and the repair tool immediately showed a message box as shown below

Adding watermarks

The Watermark Wizard enables you to add and remove watermarks from images and videos. The following dashboard will be displayed upon selecting “Watermark Wizard” option.

As you can see, the font sizes are too large. We hope the product team will rectify in the upcoming update. To add Watermark to video, you have to select “Add watermark to video” option. You will view the below screen.

The first step is to add a video file for which watermark should be added. The corresponding video will be added to the dashboard. You can add watermark by selecting the square shaped “+” button below Media label as shown below.

You can also add text watermark by providing the required content inside the Textbox. You can adjust the transparency level by dragging the slider.

In the same way, you can add watermark to image including the ability to remove existing watermark from images and videos.

Others

The Joyoshare VidiKit also includes a media player, HEIC Converter and LivePhoto Converter.

The JoyoPlayer features a simple UI with the required controls. You can watch the video on full screen. The absence of unwanted controls and icons enables you to watch the videos without distraction. You can open a video by selecting “Open media…” button.

The Joyoshare VidiKit also includes HEIC Converter using which you can convert HEIC files to JPG and PNG. The LivePhoto Converter is used to convert LivePhoto to GIF. You have to drag and drop LivePhoto files and the converter does rest of the work.

Conclusion

The Joyoshare VidiKit is a capable product using which you manage your videos. However, you will not be able to edit videos after screen recording.
