Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22538 to the Windows Insiders Dev Channel. The update includes refreshed voice access functionality that was made available with Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22518. The build also comes with bug fixes in addition to the changes and improvements. If you press the hardware buttons for volume up/down, it should no longer cause explorer.exe to crash.
The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22358 includes updated voice access, which was initially introduced with Build 22518. You can now make use of touch keyboard with voice access to spell words, enter numbers, punctuation marks, symbols and emojis. The voice access commands can be used only while using the touch keyboard.
The voice access on/off commands include voice access wake up, voice access sleep, turn off microphone, turn off voice access. You can use commands like hide keyboard and click 2 to work with the touch keyboard.
The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22358 has made available the updated entry point for Widgets with weather on the taskbar for all Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. The focus rectangle in ALT+TAB, Task View and Snap Assist will now make use of the chosen accent color of the PC. The updated IMEs and touch keyboard designs now display on the Lock screen when you enter credentials. This change is currently available to a small subset of Windows Insiders and will be expanded based on the feedback.
