Gone are days when you used to switch apps and programs by selecting the relevant ones from the Windows Taskbar. MetaDock is here to your rescue. The purpose of MetaDock is that it split your screen so that you need not have to switch between tabs or incognito browsers. You can easily split screen your browser windows based on your display size.
With the help of MetaDock, you can build your own custom layouts including muti-chat for several major chat platforms. You can interact with multiple person or group simultaneously without even switching windows. MetaDock will be available for free until July 1, 2022, and after that, the program will cost $69.99 per year. We came to know about MetaDock from Giveaway of the day and decided to test drive the app. We love testing new programs and tools, which drive considerable amount of productivity.
The concept of MetaDock is identical to that of the split window support on Windows 11. If you hover over the maximize button on Windows 11, you will view split-window modes. You can choose any mode as per your requirement. While MetaDock provides support for only websites, the split window support on Windows 11 can be used with any active app/program.
Installation
You can install MetaDock easily. You have to download the installer and apply for a license key via the official website. You have to check your spam folder for the license email because our license information landed there.
Working with MetaDock
To work with MetaDock, you should open the app and provide the license key. You should refer to your email for the license key.
You have to provide the way in which the multi-monitor mode should be opened.
You will view a dashboard as shown below
You just need to provide the URL in the “Enter a URL or search” textbox. You can also provide a search keyword and the internal search engine displays the content in a new window within MetaDock. If you provide four URLs, then the relevant websites will be displayed as shown below
MetaDock also includes several templates, which display information about various latest news. For example, if you select Crypto Trader from the drop-down box displayed above, you will be able to view the following screen.
The Multi Chat module displays four major apps such as Discord, WhatsApp Web, Telegram, and Messenger on one single screen as shown below
MetaDock also includes modules for stock markets and twitch. The My Workspace is the place where your websites/blogs will be displayed. You can delete a workspace and add another URL easily.
MetaDock provides support for Light, Dark and Classic modes. You can change them by selecting the circle-shaped dropdown located on the top portion of the dashboard. You can open several Windows simultaneously. However, the size of the MetaDock will shrink and you will not be able to read the content properly if you are working with a 15-inch laptop. MetaDock will be very useful if you have a large-sized external monitor. However, the app can be used on laptops as well except the fact that the size of the dock windows will be smaller.
Conclusion
MetaDock is an excellent app using which you can work without tabs. You can use a single monitor to navigate various websites/blogs from a single dashboard. The app will be useful if you work with large external monitors. The larger the size of the monitor, the larger the size of docks. We recommend MetaDock app if you would like to navigate multiple websites within a single dashboard without tabbing.

Thanks for the great review!
For the record, it can support apps: but it’s a beta feature, and you need to load the app first.
Load wordpad, app:wordpad.exe in the URL bar, and it will load up wordpad inside it’s interface.
Some games do work, such as Rocket League. You need to load rocket league first, set to windowed mode, and type in app:rocketleague.exe
