Installation
The Sketch Genius runs on the cloud and hence you need not have to run the installation process. You can access Sketch Genius by logging into the dashboard using the provided user credentials.
Working with Sketch Genius
To work with Sketch Genius, you should login to the dashboard using the username and password. The following screen will be displayed where you will view a short video from the developer including updates and news.
To create a new version, you should select “Create Video” link from the top navigation panel. The first step is to select a Video Type as per your project requirements. Sketch Genius comes with 9 video types. However, the standard version includes restrictions.
If you select a video type, then Sketch Genius will prompt you to select a relevant template. You will not be able to work with premium templates since they will be available only for upgraded users.
If you select “Blueprint Female 2” template and select Next button, you will view options to choose voice or TTS. You should select language, voice, speaker volume, speed, and pitch. You should provide the required script, which is used for the creation of the video.
The next step is to adjust the text position. The app automatically creates scenes based on the provided script. You can make modifications if required and proceed with the next step.
The next step is to enable subtitles, custom background, watermark text, and other related information.
In the next step, the Sketch Genius app will display your scenes and you have to upload relevant image to each scene. Alternatively, you can also select AI Images so that the app itself automatically fetches the appropriate image. You can also add Intro and Outro as well.
You have to select a scene and click on the Upload button located below Sketch on the right-hand side. You will view the following dialog. You can either upload your own image or select from Pixabay and Pexels. The selected image will appear inside the dashboard but it will take some time depending upon the file capacity. If you select, you can perform editing like cropping. The developer should provide a facility to delete the uploaded image.
You should repeat the image uploading process for each scene. Sketch Genius will make use of the uploaded images to draw sketches during the playback of videos with simultaneously rendering of the script. The video will not playback with original images but with sketches of the images, which will be beautiful. The uploaded images will appear on the dashboard as shown below
In the final step, you should provide the project name, and resolution and initiate the rendering process by selecting Create Video button. Sketch Genius app provides support for FHD rendering as well. However, the rendering time will be lengthy. We selected HD for the purpose of this review. The relevant video will appear inside My Videos dashboard
The rendering process will vary depending upon the server load. You can close the app and come back again to download the rendered video.
