Microsoft has announced the launch of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25126 for the Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. The build has rolled out new account settings page improvements to Windows Insiders in the dev Channel. Moreover, the latest build also includes a good set of bug fixes. This includes fix for an issue that causes some Windows Insiders to experience rollbacks while trying to update to the latest Dev Channel builds.
With Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25126, Microsoft has updated to provide support for Office perpetual products such as Office 2021 or Office 2019 within Subscription Management page of Settings | Accounts dashboard. This feature was introduced in October 2021.
You will be able to view all supported Microsoft 365 Office products licensed to your account. The page will provide information about your product including the ability to install Microsoft Ofice by clicking the “View Details” button. This feature is currently being made available only to select Windows Insiders followed by a global rollout.
The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25126 has resolved an issue that causes some Windows Insiders to experience a bug check with error DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in pci.sys causing a rollback. This error was noticed only in the Dev Channel. The issue pertaining to the touch keyboard has been resolved.
The explorer.exe crash while working with Search has been fixed. The preview image under Personalization | Lock Screen is no longer be backwards while making use of an Arabic or Hebrew display language. The update has resolved an issue where the context menus weren’t following either light or dark mode as Task Manager itself for some Windows Insiders. The typo on Minimize on use tooltip has been fixed. The Lock option in Start menu has been removed.
