Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 22000.776 to the Release Preview Channel for users who work with Windows 11 original release. The update includes several bug fixes and improvements. Microsoft has added IP address auditing for incoming Windows Remote Management (WinRM) connections in security event 4262 and WinRM event 91. The issue related to logging of source IP address and machine name for a remote PowerShell connection has been resolved. The update has added Server Message Block (SMB) redirector (RDR) specific File System Control (FSCTL) code FSCTL_LMR_QUERY_INFO has been resolved.
The Windows 11 Build 22000.776 has made the SMB client and SMB server cipher suite order configurable via PowerShell. Moreover, the update has introduced new highlights. If you are an enterprise customer, you will view search highlights with updates from your organization including suggestions of people, files, and much more.
