Microsoft Pushes Windows 11 Build 22000.776 to the Windows Insider Release Preview Channel

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 22000.776 to the Release Preview Channel for users who work with Windows 11 original release. The update includes several bug fixes and improvements. Microsoft has added IP address auditing for incoming Windows Remote Management (WinRM) connections in security event 4262 and WinRM event 91. The issue related to logging of source IP address and machine name for a remote PowerShell connection has been resolved. The update has added Server Message Block (SMB) redirector (RDR) specific File System Control (FSCTL) code FSCTL_LMR_QUERY_INFO has been resolved.

The Windows 11 Build 22000.776 has made the SMB client and SMB server cipher suite order configurable via PowerShell. Moreover, the update has introduced new highlights. The main aim of Search highlights is to present notable and interesting moments of special events such as holidays, anniversaries, and other educational moments not only globally but also in your region.

You just need to click on the search icon on your Taskbar to view Search highlights. If you are an enterprise customer, you will view search highlights with updates from your organization including suggestions of people, files, and much more. The Search highlights module will be available to Windows 11 customers in a phased manner based on feedback. If you are unaware, the Search highlight is available to Dev Channel Windows Insiders.

The Windows 11 Build 22000.776 has resolved an issue that might cause Windows 11 original release upgradation failure. If the Japanese characters were incorrectly displayed in PowerShell, then it has been resolved. The issue pertaining to Cloud Clipboard service has been resolved.

If the Windows Sandbox startup screen fails to hide after Sandbox starts to run, then the issue has been resolved. If the Japanese system locale stops working when you disable end-user-defined characters (EUDCs), then the issue has been resolved. Microsoft has enabled the InternetExplorerModeEnableSavePageAs Group Policy in this update.
