Microsoft has announced the release of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25158 to the Dev Channel Windows Insiders. The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25159 has introduced notification badging with Widgets. The latest build also includes several changes and improvements including bug fixes. The update brings dynamic widgets content to the Windows 11 Taskbar with notification badging for Widgets. A banner will appear at the top of the board when you navigate to the Widgets. This provides additional information on what prompted the notification badge. The update has been rolled out in a phased manner for all Windows Insiders and it will take some time for the update to hit your devices.
After the installation of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25159, you will notice an upgraded search icon on the Taskbar. However, the visual treatment for search on the Taskbar will vary depending upon each Insider.
If you are unable to view any changes, then you can expect the new update soon because Microsoft often pushes the updates in a phased manner. This feature will be available only for Dev channel Windows Insiders. Microsoft is gathering feedback from Windows Insiders via Feedback Hub.
