Microsoft has started to push October 2022 update for Windows Subsystem for Android on Windows 11 to the Windows Insider Dev and beta channels. The update version 2209.40000.26.0 will enhance security, camera, general reliability, and performance. The update includes improvements to the Camera HAL, clipboard stability, multi-threading performance, and graphic streaming security.
The Windows Subsystem for Android on Windows 11 also includes reliability enhancements for package launches,, ANGLE/GSK security updates, and Annotated telemetry with package installation sources. Moreover, the Window with legal information has been resolved including rolling out security updates to the Linux kernel. The update also includes enhancements to platform stability and Chromium Webview 105 has been updated.
