Twitter has started to roll out $8 Twitter Blue Tick verification service on iOS devices in select regions. Priced at $7.99 per month, Twitter Blue Tick verification service is currently available on iOS devices in the US, Canada, Australia, UK, and New Zealand. The new verification service was announced by Elon Musk soon after taking over charge of the company from the previous owners amidst criticism.

Twitter Blue has been pushed to iPhones in select regions such as US, Canada, Australia, UK, and New Zealand. You can expect roll out to other countries including India soon. In response to a tweet, Elon himself clarified that Twitter Blue will hit India within one month. According to official sources, Twitter Blue subscribers will view half the ads with better content.
By paying $8, people are joining the battle against bots and the company has decided to reward users with less ads and make them relevant to the context. Moreover, users will be able to post long videos coupled with priority ranking for quality content. The content will get importance in replies, mentions, and search. The paid verified account will also help in lowering the visibility of spam messages and bots.
Elon Musk took to Twitter and revealed that Twitter will soon provide the ability to attach long-form text to tweets. This means the current limit of 140 words will be enhanced to 500 to 1000. He also added that this feature will end absurdity of notepad screenshots. Musk also separately tweeted that the company will integrate creator monetization for all forms of content.

Musk also announced a new feature with which users will be able to search within Twitter. He added that it reminds him of Infoseek in 1998.
