Microsoft Pushes Windows Subsystem for Android on Windows 11

Microsoft has released an update to Windows Subsystem for Android on Windows 11 to all Windows Insider channels. The update 2211.40000.11.0 will update WSA to Android 13, reliability, and overall performance. The Windows Subsystem for Android has been updated to Android 13. The update includes improvements in boot performance, mouse click input, clipboard stability, and application resizing. The update also includes reliability improvements to media files opening in Windows. Moreover, the Jumplist entries for applications provide app shortcuts support.

Previously, Microsoft had released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25272 to the Dev Channel after holidays with several improvements and bug fixes. The update has moved Quick Assist out of Windows Tools. The company has removed the suggested action to search coped content in Microsoft Edge. The system will also display Recommended websites in the recommended section in Start menu. The build also added improvements to Windows Subsystem for Linux including addition of a refresh button to the Windows print queue.

If the ARM64 devices throw a black screen while resuming from sleep or hibernate, then the issue has been resolved. The new build also resolved an issue that caused several UI elements in apps to disappear and reappear again. The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25272 also resolved the issue that cause the Taskbar search box not to render properly. The search box has been refreshed to display Japanese IME candidate items. If the publisher name filtering has not matched properly on the Processes page, then the issue has been resolved.
