Microsoft Pushes Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22621.1245 and 22623.1245 To Beta Channel Windows Insiders

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22621.1245 and 22623.1245 to the Beta Channel Windows Insiders. While new features are rolling out in Build 22623.1245, the new features are switched off by default in Build 22621.1245. Windows Insiders who were on Build 22622 will be automatically moved to Build 22623 via an enablement package, which increments the build number for the update with new features. You should note that Microsoft employs this approach only for the Beta Channel and is not indicative of any changes or plans for the rollout of the final feature.

Microsoft has pushed screen recording functionality in Snipping Tool to Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel version 11.2212.24.0. The latest flight has added pause capability with improved performance and reliability. Microsoft has resolved a high-hitting SpellExperienceHost crash related to Quick Settings in Build 22623.1245. The update also fixed issues that cause Task Manager crashes. The search box will not overlap with the title bar text if text scaling is increased. The flight also made tweaks to address text scaling issues. If certain parts of the title bar cause window dragging problem, then the issue has been resolved.

Microsoft has resolved an issue that affected the ReFS including copying of files from a network to a local drive. The flight fixed an issue that causes Windows Server 2022 domain controllers to stop responding. The issue pertaining to a group Policy for Expanded Toasts has been resolved. Moreover, an issue related to the Input Method Editor (IME), searchindexer.exe, and conhost.exe has been fixed. If an error occurred during the conversion of Japanese Kanji using a multibyte character set (MBCS) app, then the problem has been resolved.
