Microsoft has rolled out Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22621.1250 and 22623.1250 to the Beta Channel Windows Insiders. While in Build 22623.1250, the new features are rolling out, the new features are switched off by default in Build 22621.1250. If you are on Build 22622, you will be automatically moved to Build 22623 via an enablement package. The build number will be artificially incremented with new features.
The Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22621.1250 & 22623.1250 has modified the way the Taskbar search box appears by adding a new policy for IT administrators. Microsoft has resolved several bug fixes in Build 22623.1250. This includes typing F in the search box, Narrator unable to read text in dialogs, search box window dragging, search box keyboard focus, Details page confirmation dialog, text scaling increase, Narrator search box, and much more.
Microsoft also resolved an issue where the search box randomly disappears upon clicking on it. If the search box shifted to the side upon clicking, then the issue stands fixed on this update. The Taskbar will not hide upon setting Taskbar auto-hide and pressing the Windows key.
