Microsoft Pushes Windows 11 Build 22621.1343 to the Release Preview Channel

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 22621.1343 to the Release Preview Channel. The update will be available only for Windows Insiders on Windows 11 version 22H2. The update includes access to Windows Studio Effects directly from quick settings on the Taskbar for those devices with Neural Processing Unit aka NPU. The effects include Background blur, Eye contact, Audio effects, and Automatic framing.

The Windows 11 Build 22621.1343 has improved the search box experience on the Taskbar. The search results appear in the search flyout box. You can also modify the search experiences by navigating to Settings | Personalization | Taskbar. This flight also added a new policy for IT administrators to manage the way the Taskbar search box appears including energy recommendations. You will be able to enhance the energy efficiency of your PC and reduce the carbon footprint. You can navigate to Settings | System Power & Battery | Energy Recommendations to work with this feature.

The Windows 11 Build 22621.1343 has enhanced the system tray with all icons having a rounded focus and hover treatment in the lower right. This includes the Show hidden icons flyout menu. You can move icons to rearrange them in the Show hidden icons flyout menu. The flight introduced a touch-optimized Taskbar for convertible devices. You can switch between collapsed and expanded states by swiping up and down on the bottom of your screen.

The Windows 11 Build 22621.1343 ships with enhanced support for Braille devices in addition to support for new Braille displays. The flight also provides new Braille input and output languages in Narrator. The new braille displays comprise APH Chameleon, APH Mantis Q40, NLS eReader, and much more.

The update includes flexible voice access and effective interaction with more user interface (UI) controls. The update added voice access support for spin controls, split buttons, and thumb controls. The build fixed issues related to snapping commands. The latest update also includes voice scrolling enhancements using which you can scroll left and right using voice.

The Windows 11 Insider Build 22621.1343 ships with AI-enabled recommended content on your Start menu for devices that are joined to Azure Active Directory. Moreover, the Redmond-based software giant has added the new Tamil Anjal keyboard for the Tamil language. Tamil (Singapore), Tamil (Malayasia), Tamil (Sri Lanka), or Tamil (India( will appear in Settings | Time & Language | Language & Region. After selecting the ellipse, you should select Language Options and add Tamil Anjal (QWERTY) to the keyboards list.
