The program should be activated by providing the relevant license code by selecting the Activate button. The next step is to select Open button and locate a PDF file. The relevant PDF file will open on the screen. The editing placeholders will display if you select Edit menu.
You can then make use of the Toolbar options to perform the required editing work. The PDF file will appear on the dashboard and you can select it to work any time. You can convert an existing Word file to PDF by selecting Convert to PDF option.
You can create a new PDF document by selecting Create Blank PDF option. You can add content by selecting Add text option from the Home menu tab. You can also insert content directly from a PDF file by selecting Insert option. You can format content by selecting Edit menu. The Page menu option enables you to rotate, replace, extract, split, and merge PDF files.
The main highlight of AcePDF is ability to add highlight, underline, strikethrough, callouts, and sticky notes to the PDF. For example, you can add a sticky note to 50th page with some information, which will be useful for future reference. You can create forms with checkbox, radio button, combo box push button including protecting your PDF file with signatures and password.
You can split, merge and compress PDF files including the ability to convert image to PDF. You will view the various options if you select Batch Process icon from the navigation panel.
If you need to merge PDF files, you should add multiple PDF files and the following dialog will be visible on the screen.
You can add more files by selecting “Add files” option. The tool also provides the ability to specify the relevant output path in case you need to change the default one. Finally, you should select merge button and the PDF files will be combined into one single file. The compression feature will be useful if you need to transfer a large PDF file via email or social media. The output folder of the compressed file will open immediately after the process is finished.
We couldn’t go back to the AcePDF dashboard after selecting Create Blank PDF option. We hope the company will resolve this issue in the next release.
