We all deal with documents and images on a daily basis. The content will accumulate over a period of time and you need to backup the data to a safe destination. This could be either a portable hard drive or cloud storage. Imagine, you have backed up all the important data on a portable hard drive and it stopped working. It’s not possible to retrieve the content. Hence, you need to make use of cloud storage platforms like CBackup.

The user interface is divided into two sections. You have to choose the files you would like to backup from the Source section. You will have to collapse the hard drive partition and select the relevant folder that you need to backup. You have to pick a folder name and select Start Backup button.

The destination is CBackup Cloud and you need not have to perform any task. CBackup will display the backup process as shown below. The time required to complete the installation process will depend upon the capacity of the source files.

You can initiate another backup task by selecting Backup option from the left side. You can also sync PC data to public cloud services such as Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, and Dropbox. You can work with all the cloud services using just CBackup by selecting Storage option from the navigation panel. You have to provide the required authorization credentials by following the displayed instructions.

CBackup will display the total number of files and capacity on the dashboard. You can restore the file by selecting the three horizontal dots on the right side and selecting Restore option.

CBackup Review

It’s easy to restore files from the backup just by clicking the Restore option. However, the time required to complete the restoration will depend upon the capacity of the files.

Conclusion

CBackup is an excellent free cloud backup software using which you can safely and quickly transfer data. YOu can easily restore the data from the CBackup servers. The user interface is simple to use and effective. The free plan will be sufficient for normal users. If you work with Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, and Google Drive, then you should consider CBackup as well. We would appreciate if the company provides a recognizable name for the files that are backed up on the dashboard. The first uploaded content will be Filer Backup and second one will be File Explorer (1) like that. It will be difficult to recognize the contents of the specific folder at the time of restoration. We hope the product team will provide a facility for the users to rename the default Task List names to recognizable names. That said, we highly recommend the free cloud software tool CBackup for all your data security requirements.
